Enduring the Ice, Cold, and Snow
Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 42 secondsEight and one-half months ago, I started walking long distances as part of my grief journey.
It was a week after Jan died, and I needed to clear my head and focus on how to share her love and slowly build a life without her.
I am a stranger in this new world that I inhabit.
I did not choose to be here, but I am.
So I walk despite the cold, ice, and snow to find peace and meaning in this new life.
Jan will always be with me because our love will never die!
