How Soon Will My Grandson Outpace Me?
More Walking With Wes
Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 33 secondsIt shouldn’t be a surprise that I now walk distances that I would have considered too far before my wife’s passing. I keep walking as if the steps are imaginary. Yesterday, my son Mike sent me a text message.
Hey, Wes and I went for a walk (no stroller, all walking), and after an hour and a loop around the park, he didn’t want to stop. He kept saying “more walk,” so maybe he’s taking after you 😂!
I’m looking forward to walking with Wes, but he will outpace me one day. If I could change into PJs after the walk like Wes, it might be easier to keep up with him.
