No Boxes, Empty Walls
Estimated reading time: 1 minute, 12 secondsMy new apartment is becoming a warm and happy home. I emptied all the boxes much sooner than I had anticipated.
Despite unpacking all the contents, I still have accumulated too much stuff over a lifetime.
The immediate task is to decide which paintings and photographs to hang on the wall.
I have less wall space than I did in 3D. I estimate I have more than three times as many items to hang on the walls as wall space.
Even after I decide which ones to place on the walls, I will need to determine where to store the unused ones.
The final task will be the plant question.
I have seven windows in 3B compared to eight in 3D. However, I cannot use two of them for plants as the room is too small and the furniture needs to be against the wall.
In the end, I will have to find new homes for some plants.
Because Jan is still with me, 3B is a home sweet home.
Therefore, I can finish the tasks one day at a time.
