Overflowing River
Morning After Henri
Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 22 secondsThe river was full, muddy, and flowing fast on my morning walk. It had overflowed, and the banks were in the paths by the old mill site. After taking the photo and video, a dog walker said, “The river is angry this morning.” I responded, “It’s Mother Nature that is angry. The river is just the messenger!”
Waiting for Ida
Morning After Henri
Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 22 secondsIda’s showers arrived this morning and dampened my walk. The river was lowered in advance of the expected heavy rains. The predictions are for several inches of rain. With a naked eye I could see the bottom of the river. I might have gotten only a little wetter had I decided to walk across the river instead of by it.
Ida Arrived
Morning After Henri
