Two Thousand Minutes of Exercise

Each month my Apple Watch provides me with an exercise challenge.
To begin 2023, the challenge was to exercise at least one hundred thirty-nine (139) minutes daily for fourteen days.
At the beginning of each month, I focus on achieving the goal sequentially instead of, for example, picking fourteen random days out of thirty-one.
With the help of temperatures that have been eleven degrees above “normal,” I earned the exercise badge today.
My exercise numbers are as follows:
Jan is with me with each step I take; I feel stronger, more focused, and energized.
I do wonder how professional athletes feel when they achieve a workout goal. Is it merely a checkbox, or is it simply one more day on the treadmill?
Today’s walk was thirty-three degrees colder than Fridays.
But I persisted despite the chill.
To celebrate the badge, I ordered new walking shoes!
Now, if only I could solve the fruit fly infestation.
