Walking With Jan on Ice
Estimated reading time: 0 minutes, 42 secondsToday’s walk was seven miles of freezing rain. A few slips and slides, but I remained standing.
Two days ago, the temperature for my walk was almost sixty degrees. My grandmother would have called this pneumonia weather.
I remain healthy, but I am fully aware that living alone will include periods of sickness. In my support groups, illness frightens us as we have no one to help us.
Love never dies! Jan is still with me. With her support, I will find a way to manage ill health the same way she has helped me live with my grief.
