YarnStormers Transform Hanson Park!
Estimated reading time: 1 minute, 0 secondsYarnStormers, a Cranford group, was founded with the desire to coordinate a group art project that the whole town could enjoy.
“Knit the Town” by Yarn Stormers was born! The name is a play on “yarn bombing,” a style of public art graffiti made with yarn. The plan was to have it ready to install on June 11th, International Yarn Bomb Day.
Although the YarnStormers have displayed their artwork throughout Cranford, several are in Hanson Park, the site of Jan’s Memorial Triangle Garden.
Jan’s Garden is waiting on the arrival of the wind sculpture later this month.
